corner view ~ something difficult

well I’ve been on a corner view (blogging) ‘hiatus’ taking in some pasta, wine and gelato!!!

But now I’m back.

So today’s theme is ‘something difficult’ – Well staying positive and upbeat, now that’s difficult to do.  With our recent experience in Rome it really tested my ‘glass is always full’ outlook.  And when you have to model that behavior for your kids, it’s tough.

imperfections

“Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.”

Corner View is a weekly gathering - each Wednesday - created by Jane of Spain Daily, and hosted by Francesca.  It’s where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme.

you certainly needed a full glass (of wine?) to go through all that ordeal! :)
very glad it's over. now, all you need is a house - piece of cake! :0

So true! I always try to look at it that there must have been a reason or something I am suppose to learn from the situation. Sorry you were stuck in ROme, but if you are going to be stuck somewhere that is a great place to be stuck.

I think those experiences, stressful as they may be, are such rich opportunities to teach our kids so much about rolling with it. Not easy for me to do, but boy have I had lots of practice trying!!
